mentorship

Educators at all levels benefit from articulating their process and discussing methods for development. Short and long term mentor relationships help our work stay focused, vibrant, and values driven. The fellowship created in teacher-teacher meta learning is a cornerstone of Lucida.

We have mentored teaching teams and individuals at California College of the Arts, Mills College, and School Heads at Bay Area independent elementary schools. We have worked individually with professionals who have content and expertise to share and who have been invited to step into a teaching role but who lack teacher training and experience. Some relationships consist of monthly meetings with ongoing goals and research, some are once-a-semester workshops. In each case we bring our collective 30+ years of pedagogical experience together with rigorous reflection and inquiry exercises.
