learning ecologies

From radical reorganization to careful observation and feedback, institutions come to Lucida to support strategic growth, pedagogical evolution, and communication framework design. We listen, observe, research, reflect, and iterate to make learning more just, effective, and possible at all levels.

For example, we design custom workshops on inclusive pedagogy and practices that address specific, often urgent, topics in cultural competency. These workshops are tailored to focus on the needs of specific institutional branches such as Faculty groups, Student Resources, Counseling, and Administration.

Some current projects include reimagining required college assessment methods to create authentic processes that help faculty plan, evaluate, and develop their approach; recent workshops on “Trans and Gender Spectrum communities” and “Universal Design and Accessibility”;  recent research and presentations on optimal formats for faculty exchange; and on-going particapation in community working groups on “Anti-Racist Pedagogies” and “Digital Tools & Pedagogy”.
